Okay guys, so Ranbir Kapoor is officially going through a bad time.
After the Bombay Velvet debacle, now he has another problem at hand. It’s been weeks and Ranbir and Anurag Basu still havent roped in an actor to play RK Jrs father in Jagga Jasoos.
SpotboyE.com told you how Anurag has approached Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor to play Ranbirs dad in Jagga Jasoos after Govinda was shown the door (Govinda out of Jagga Jasoos, May 26). Buzz is, even Jackie Shroff is in the running.
Anil has not shown much interest in the film given his history with Ranbir (Anil will play papa to Ranveer but not Ranbir, May 31).
Now, SpotboyE.com has it that a song had been shot with Govinda and Ranbir. Keeping their energies in mind, composer Pritam had come up with a fast-paced number.
The actor, who replaces Govinda, will have to match steps with Ranbir in the ditty.
“The song has become the bone of contention now. Govinda and Ranbir have danced brilliantly. The song has been shown to Bachchan and Jackie, " says a source close to the film.
"The dance sequence cant be done away with because it forms an integral part of the narrative,” adds the source.
We tried contacting Anurag but he remained unavailable for a comment.
